As soon as the movie started, I didn’t feel like I was watching celebrities in the big screen. It was more like taking a peek at life of my friends, or people I see every day. Like witnessing real, ordinary people having fun and going through their daily routines. In short, BTS represents life. We see life’s struggles, hard work, success and happiness through them. A real deal that you can actually relate to.
Their purest and honest smiles brought me so much joy. Sometimes their insecurities made me jittery. Their hard working ethic and professionalism made me feel like a proud mama. I kept thinking how. Just how is Big Hit so lucky to find these seven boys who each have something so unique to offer. But I guess it goes both ways. BTS is also fortunate to meet a company who supports and looks after them like real family. One of the memorable part in the movie for me was when Bang PD told the boys he wants them to be happy too. I was glad to hear Bang PD reminding them not to lose that essence.
Boys have been working hard to making their childhood dreams into reality. However it’s not the only goal they worked so hard for. Their bigger dream is to make changes in society and their generation. That good-natured impact that can actually touch and change people’s lives. Their message of loving ourselves resonate deeper than any other cause it starts with finding one’s own happiness. Finding one’s happiness really is the stepping stone to making happier society in whole. They want to heal and comfort us with their music and truthful message but they too want to find that ultimate answer in return. They’re seeking that happiness in us. They heal us and at the same time, themselves. It feels satisfying to know that we are sailing this journey together not just as a star and a fan but as friends. This was never one-sided love.
